: Very nice couple who runs the place and great view from the patio of the family room.
: Toilet in family room was difficult to use for anyone taller than 5 feet, you have to sit sideways and there's a wall blocking your right arm. Location is about one mile from town but it is cheap to take a tuk tuk back and forth. Dogs bark nearly all night long, particularly starting around 4 AM. You have to pay only in CASH, no credit cards and when I asked for a "cuenta" on checkout, the host acted like she had never received this request before. Sole set us up with a woman to drive us to Medellin who was the WORST driver I have ever encountered in my life.

: The views from the property are nice! The owners are also nice and arrange a tour to a coffee plantation which is not to be missed!
: Honestly, I’m not sure why this property got such good reviews. I booked it based on the reviews and I got disappointed. First of all, it is extremely noisy. The owners have two large dogs that barked basically all the time when we were there. They also barked in the middle of the night (the last night we were staying they started at 1am and finished at 3am, just to start back at 5:30am with a constant barking, howling and growling). Asked by the owner of everything was ok we mentioned the dogs barking at night and he replied “ah only “un poquito” (a little)” - if that is “a little” I am seriously wondering what “a lot” is. Because the room we had was all windows we felt like the dogs were right next to our bed with the noise. No apology or telling the dogs off from the owners’ side. There is construction going on on the property next door which starts early in the morning. Secondly, the place was not very clean. I found hair of other people in the shower, in the bed, and on the floor. As mentioned in previous reviews they use insanitary decoration on the toilet which we removed the first day. The mats in front of the shower and bathroom appeared dirty. The towels were not changed when we put them on our bed (that was the rule displayed for getting new towels). We attempted to have breakfast the first day, but were super put off by the two large dogs begging for food on other guests’ tables (at one point the one dog had its nose on the table and the guest tried to make it go away) - no response from the owners. I love dogs and all other animals, but I seriously think they do not belong in an area where guests want to have breakfast in peace and in a clean environment. Nice that it had rained the night before and we were accompanied by wet dog smell while having a coffee. We opted to have breakfast in the very nice town of Jardin all other days and tried to stay away from the accommodation. That said: totally overpriced for what you get.

: We arrived at night and it was raining; we met Soley and she welcomed us like it was our home. She gave us advices on where to have dinner at town. Meanwhile, we also met Guau and Gos, amazing and cute dogs. Dinner at town was great and when we returned "home" we met Xavier, the Catalan married to Colombian Soley. What an amazing couple; they made our stay very special. They also gave us good advices on the sights at Jardin. If we can come back to Jardin we will try to stay at their home again. If not, we hope to see them in Catalonia. By the way, next day's breakfast was really amazing with probably our best coffee in Colombia.
: The only problem was that we only stayed there one night.

  : Nice views, tranquil location.
: Room was changed, different from original reservation. Was notified that it would be changed but not notified of increased room rate ($25 USD total difference). Walls are paper-thin. We could clearly hear every word spoken in the adjacent room.

: The views from the garden are mezmorizing! The owners instantly made us feel at home and they are very willing to help with any needs! The room we got was very nice and had a "homey" feel to it! We absolutely loved our stay, and I would highly recommend this place if you are staying in Jardín. It's only a 15minutes walk into Jardín, and the tuktuks in town takes you back up the hill for 3500 pesos. We adored the cute dogs and cats, and loved their company!
: Hot water in the shower was the only thing we missed!!
